'02年8月にバッキンガム宮殿の庭で行なわれたエリザベス女王即位50周年記念コンサートのトリで演奏。
その際の一部始終を以下に引用。
2002年6月4日 the Buckingham Palace gardens にて
While My Guitar Gently Weepsを演奏するエリッククラプトンとポールマッカートニーをジョージマーチンが紹介します。
Blackbird の演奏を終えたポールの方を見て第一声が“I think I've seen him somewhere before!"
「この人どこかで見たことあるなあ。」
ちなみにポールはこの記念祭で(6月4日)以下の曲を演奏しました。
*Her Majesty ポールいわく“I had to do it."
「この曲をはずすわけにはいきません。」
