Rudess is like: Kevin is very talanted. He is following his heart and his muse which guide him along a different focus path then the one that I follow. We do however share a lot of the same interests. It is difficult to put one creative mind against the other like that I think. Especially when we both have performed so many different types of music. The main common factor of course is DT- but he is very removed from that type of playing style at this point. The actual art of playing the keyboard is still very important to me, which may be one of the fundamental differences between us! By the way. I really dig the new OSI stuff! Good luck with this one!
