｢Children of the revolution｣の同じくB面2曲目です。
1曲目よりは落ちますがそれでも同時期のストーンズの｢It's only rock'n roll｣なんかよりは全然こっちの方が格好良いじゃんって思うなあ。

マークボラン短命だったけど才能有ったなあ。

これが殺人的に格好良いロックンロールナンバーなんです！
正に頂点を極めていた頃のマークボランが生み出す妖しい魅力に溢れる曲でRolling Stonesなんかより遥かに上を行くロックンローラーなんだよマークは。

何度も何度もCMに使われるお馴染みの曲ですね。
それだけこの曲のイントロのギターリフはやっぱり格好良いです。
80年12月19日のサウンドストリートで渋谷陽一が「これ程素晴らしいリフはメタルバンドでも中々無いのではないか」とイヤミな言い方で言ってますが、否定出来なくて悔しい！

カヴァー多そう・・というかこの手の曲はロックをやる人達なら1度はコピーしてしまう曲なのではないでしょうか。
