テキサスのドゥームメタルバンドの1st(1991年リリース)。
元々はSOLITUDEというバンド名だったが、同名バンドがいたためAETURNUSを付け足した。
CANDLEMASSからの影響が大きいメロディアスかつ叙情的な音。
ロバート・ロウの伸びのある澄んだヴォーカルが素晴らしい。
