別時期にレコーディングされた2つの作品をまとめてCD化したもののようです。
なんといっても30分を越える大曲「Black Desolate Winter」が聴き所ですかね。
延々と続くじっとりとしたギターの音色、パタパタと無機質なマシンドラム、精気のない呻き声、どこをとっても色のない冬の世界です。
鬱ブラックというよりはアンビエントノイズブラックって感じです。
